Primary 5 & 6 explored the journey of our breath from our nose and mouth around the body. We looked at how the lungs take in oxygen and how it is passed to the other organs. The bad guys ( tar /chemicals in smoking ) make movement of this oxygen difficult and stop the oxygen moving freely to where it is needed. The breath race game helped to demonstrate the difficulties tar could make to our breathing.
