Last week, a team involved in an EU SWIM project called to the school to have a look at the weather station which was installed over the summer.
The team spent time looking at the instalment and talking to the children about how the data works. At the minute, St. Patrick's PS is the only school in this area to have a weather station. The information is too detailed for Primary School use, but we hope that by working with UCD and Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful, we will be able to come up with ways to use the data in our projects on Weather, the Environment as well as possibly linking with other schools to work on joint projects.
