It was great to see so many parents, family and friends attend our sports day on Tuesday and brave the cold.
Our visitors generated a great atmosphere, offering lots of support and encouragement to our children.
We would like to thank everyone for donating so generously to school funds during our break and to our staff for serving tea/coffee and treats. Over £170 was raised to enable our school to continue providing additional opportunities for our children.
As always, events were competitive, but our children demonstrated great sportsmanship and they thoroughly enjoyed the day. There was quite a hasty retreat from parents at the mention of a parent race... maybe next year!!!
Thanks to the Credit Union for organising the ice cream van for the children in the afternoon. It was a well deserved treat.
