Snow Plough Designs

23rd Feb 2024

This week the children had a practical homework task to design and make a snow plough. They watched some real snow ploughs in action and then spent the week creating their own out of Lego, modifying toys and recycling. The end results were amazing and lots of credit should also be given to the adults who helped the children bring their ideas to life. They also created one large snow plough in class which has now been added to our Polar Explorer role play area. To end the week, the children had great fun testing out their ploughs using a mixture of pretend snow and sand. They were very happy with their results and there were only a few minor modifications suggested to improve on their designs. Thank you again to everyone at home who helped make this such a successful project in school.
