Shared Education visit to Bushvalley for P1 and P2
Primary One and Two had a very exciting day today with their first school trip. As part of the PEACE IV Shared Education project we were invited along with St Ciaran’s in Cushendun to Bushvalley Primary School. Many of the children were particularly excited about their first ever trip on a bus! This was the first visit of the year and the children had great fun meeting new and old friends from the both schools. They had a teddy bears' picnic to start the day followed by a fantastic outdoor play session. They played with sand, water and mud and their clothes were a great indication of the fun they had and how involved they were with their activities (full washing machines tonight). There was great variety of construction and building materials which led into some very creative role play. Lots of beautiful pictures were created using chalk and many of the children also enjoyed creating music with the large instruments. There will be a lot of very tired children tonight. Thank you to Bushvalley for making us feel so welcome and we are now looking forward to our next outing to St Ciaran’s.
