St Patrick's Primary School are proud to present their newly elected school council.
The children in each class were each given the opportunity to write and present a manifesto with their ideas of how to improve school life.
The standard was particularly high this year. Children spoke confidently, articulating their ideas concisely and giving the staff lots of ideas in the process.
Each child then voted for who they thought would be the best representative for their class, but every child deserves praise for the contribution to the school council elections.
Each class will now have monthly meetings, where all children can share their thoughts and ideas, before their class representatives bring these to the school council.
