The PTFA family quiz event was held on Wednesday 14th raising a grand total £412.15. A big thank you to everyone who supported this, it was great to see a full hall.
Many thanks also to Fergal Lynn for doing an excellent job as quiz master.
By the 9th round the Emojis (Daniel Douthart and Maria Rosa, Sarah, John and Francesca Black) had gained ground on the Glen Road Legends (Sadhbh Marrs & Conor Haughey), meaning a tie breaker was necessary, leading the Emojis to victory.
In the ultimate display of sportsmanship the Emojis shared their chocolate eggs with Glen Road Legends so everyone went home happy.
Unfortunately in all the excitement, we forgot to take photos on the night of the winning team with their trophy, so the children have posed for a photo today in school!
