Primary Three and Four had brilliant fun out gathering natural materials to make paint. Back in the classroom they used pestles and mortars to grind up the leaves, petals and berries with a little water. They painted on fabric and produced some beautiful pictures. There was lots of discussion around which natural materials made the best paint and why. Special thanks to the families who allowed us to borrow their pestles and mortars.
