Primary Three and Four go walking again.

5th Oct 2018

Primary Three and Four went walking again last week as part of their Glenariff topic.  They walked to the end of the village to look at the two different bridges that cross the river.  The children were shocked at the journey they would need to undertake to cross the river and stay dry if the bridges were not there.  They were very interested in the need for the two bridges and what Paula told them about the olden wooden bridge that was replaced by the newer metal one. Primary Three and Four also talked about the design of the bridges and what they were built from.   When they came back to school everyone recorded their learning brilliantly in their World Around Us books.
