Open Enrolment in Post-Primary Schools Timetable
Below is a list of key dates for admission for children beginning secondary education in September 2025. These dates may also be useful as a guide for children beginning secondary education in September 2026.
Tuesday 28th January 2025 Post-Primary application process opens with online portal available from 12 noon.
Note when an application is submitted, an applicant must provide supporting documents if requested. They must also provide the child's birth certificate.
Thursday 20th February 2025 Online portal closes at 12 noon for Year 8 Post-Primary applications.
Saturday 10th May 2025 Applicants receive notification of outcome of applications via email, where one is held, or letter.
