I think there must have been an invasion of pirates in Glenariff over the past week. There were some very fierce ones but also lots of jolly pirates to keep the balance. Above all they seemed to be really hard working as I have evidence of decks being scrubbed, food prepared, rats getting caught, treasure being counted and much more. The children seem to be having so much fun with their pirate topic and some of them even had pirate days and created ships and planks to walk. Their pirate hat designs or headscarves were very creative and we had a few parrots made out of beautiful collage. Well done to everyone involved. It was great to see other members of your families getting involved too.
