What a fantastic week for our new Pirate Ship to arrive in St. Patrick's Primary School!
The children have had amazing fun, right through from Primary 1 to Primary 7. They have used their imaginations to play at being sailors and pirates, steering the ship, climbing aboard and watching out for invaders through the portholes.
The weather has been beautiful too, so every break and lunchtime each of the bubbles has had their slot on the ship. We have even had whole class Literacy and R.E. lessons on the decking.
Many thanks to the PTFA who applied for the funding for this wonderful asset to our outdoor play area. We are looking forward to the artist, Angela Ginn's visit next week. Angela will work with the older children to add some finishing touches.
