P4 were very happy to hear that Max Bates won the Bank of Ireland Open Farm Schools Competition organised by the Ulster Farmers' Union.
As well as winning money for the school and for himself, Max's prize included a visit to an Open Farm.
We had a great time seeing the animals and learning about which animals give us food.
Nigel the farmer was very impressed with the children's knowledge, especially when they told him about how China had to pollinate their flowers.
Well done, Max. we had a fantastic time!
