Our school was delighted to be able to support Mary's Meals' latest 'Backpack Challenge' despite current local and global challenges.
On Wednesday we welcomed in Pat, who is a volunteer with the charity, aimed at ensuring that children receive one daily meal in their place of education.
As part of their work, the charity also provides children who are less fortunate with a backpack for school, which contains a number of items such as clothing, toothpaste and toothbrush, as well as some school supplies.
Thanks to the generosity of our families, 44 children across 19 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the Caribbean will now be able to attend school with the appropriate resources.
