Lots of fun with learning for Primary 6 in Term 2 :)
Primary 6 had great fun in February getting dug into their outdoor gardening, with Mrs McDaid and Primary 3 and 4. We planted flower bombs, apples trees and pear trees, all round our school grounds - we can't wait to taste and smell the outcome.
We have loved talking about our Lenten promises and dressing up as our favourite characters and books for World Book Day.
Visits from Ignite and Music Bloom have helped us to discuss and release our inner emotions and feelings through lots of active games, songs and though playing lots of new instruments.
The children also enjoyed playing a variety of board games during PDMU, which help them to recognise and relate to their personal, emotional and social skills in a positive way.
The great weather has meant that we could have some of our maths lessons on Angles outdoors. The children were able to find a variety of different sized angles from 30 degrees to 270 degrees.
We really enjoyed researching information and making a Just 2 Easy presentation on inspirational woman for International Woman's Day and hearing about 10 different woman we had each chosen to write about.
