Gareth from Live Here Love visited our school on Thursday. Gareth showed Primary Five, Six and Seven a PowerPoint about plastic telling them that only 9% of plastic is recycled.
Primary Seven completed a litter survey on the beach which Gareth will upload to a global marine litter website.
Primary Three to Seven then completed a litter pick, one group found three pairs of glasses. The total weight of rubbish collected was 2.6kg. The children used the resources from our new litter picking station at the park.
