As part of Catholic Schools Week, we were very lucky to be able to invite all the Grandparents back into the Primary One and Two classroom for a special visit today. The children were so excited to share their work and play with their Grandparents. They worked very hard over the week to prepare special paintings and writing to illustrate why they love spending time with them. Our special visitors enjoyed looking at their work on display, building jigsaws, making magnetic pictures, building with the stickle bricks and playing with our touch panel and iPads. Many of them also worked alongside their grandchildren to create a special card as a keepsake to take home with them. It was lovely to see the classroom come to life with lots of stories being shared between the children and adults. Thank you to everyone who made that extra effort to come today and help create a memorable day for everyone.
