Primary One and Two have been having a lovely day today. They looked fantastic in all their green clothes and as promised it was a fun day for them all to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. There was even an escaped dinosaur among our Irish costumes. We were so lucky to get such beautiful weather and decided to create a Spring collage using chalk along the side of our classroom. They were encouraged to look and listen for signs around them and there were some great conversations about what to draw. William was really pleased to find a ‘shamrock!’ and quickly went to get the green chalk to draw it. Calum celebrated his birthday on St Patrick’s day and sent us a picture to show how he had a double celebration.
