On Thursday Primary Three and Four were outside, between the showers, celebrating Maths Week by playing Maths games. On Friday, the children took the lead by designing and playing their own games, teaching each other and playing together. The games the children designed were absolutely fantastic. They included addition, subtraction, number patterns and multiplication.
Primary Six were outside measuring at the same time and we took the opportunity to teach them the games as well. Of course, we stayed in our class bubbles but we had fun and learned lots. Primary Six and Miss McFadden were really impressed with the imagination, team work and super maths skills!
Primary Three and Four finished off a lovely Friday with their favourite daily activity, Accelerated Reading and painting their clay pumpkins for Halloween.
