Well done to all the children who participated in Ditch the Dark Day this week, aimed at raising children's awareness of travelling safely when walking or cycling during the winter months and at night.
The children made a great effort dressing up in brightly coloured and reflective clothing, making them easily seen by motorists.
We would again encourage children to continue to travel actively to school if safe to do so in the coming months.
