Christmas Assembly

6th Dec 2019

During a very busy assembly we celebrated lots of achievements with our children.

Tamara won a trophy for Camogie Player of the Year. The camogie and hurling teams each came 3rd in the Indoor competitions in Dunloy and Ballycastle over the past few weeks.

We sang Happy Birthday to the 8 children who celebrated birthdays in November and December since our last assembly.

We had our 100% Attendance Draw which was won by Clodagh in Primary 1.

We talked about the Charity Raffle, this year we are supporting Action Mental Health. Tickets have gone on sale this week at 50p per ticket. Following our well-established tradition, we asked the oldest and the youngest pupils to turn on the lights of the Christmas Tree for the first time this year.

Finally, we recognised the achievements of some Irish Dancers, children who had completed a Mud Run and Erin who was the youngest in her class to be awarded her Silver Fáinne for speaking Irish. Well done, everyone!
