Building the Titanic
16th May 2017
The Primary 7 children had to design and build the Titanic using corrugated plastic. They then had to think of a way to enable the Titanic to move through water.
Following some guidance they decided to create a propeller using a piece of corrugated plastic and an elastic band.
The children were challenged to see which group could make their Titanic travel through the water farthest.
Then we investigated whether the number of propeller turns effected the distance that their Titanic travelled.
