A huge well done to all of the children who walked, cycled or scooted to school during the 'Big Pedal'.
As a result of all of your efforts, our school finished in 5th place in Northern Ireland and 14th place in the United Kingdom for active travel journeys during this two week period out of over 2,000 schools that participated.
Just under 95% of our children travelled actively on our best five days which also included 40% of those journeys having adult supporters.
Our children completed 1,202 active travel journeys during the 'Big Pedal' which is a fantastic achievement.
We would encourage as many children as possible to continue travelling actively to school over the coming weeks and into the future.
Don't forget 'Walk to School Week' begins on Monday 20th May.
