Over the past term we have using a wide variety of media to create images and artwork in our classroom. The children loved the challenge of using modelling clay to make someone who helps them and they then created a backdrop using a box and lots of fun paint and collage. Droppers were used to explore raindrops and patterns and a variety of media was mixed to make Valentine's cards, which I hope you all have on display at home now! The children's ICT skills shone through when they used the Just2Easy software to create self portraits and images of their heroes. This is just a sample of the work we have been doing but one thing is clear, we have lots of budding little artists in the classroom and many of the children have a natural talent to show their individuality through their beautiful work.
