Today we were delighted to welcome All-Ireland Champions Colleen Patterson, Orlagh O'Hara, Lara Haughey and Monique O'Boyle to our school.
The talented camogie players, who won All-Irleand Intermediate and Minor titles over the past few weeks, took time out of their busy schedules to talk to our children about their recent successes, their backgrounds in the sport, and their future ambitions.
There was a real sense of excitement throughout the school, especially when our children were able to get up close and personal with the trophy.
We really appreciate having these inspirational athletes visit our school, showing our children what can be achieved with commitment, dedication and passion.
Everyone at St. Patrick's Primary School would like to wish them all the best with their future endeavours. Hopefully there will be many more successes to come.
