Active Travel Week - 27th to 30th September
At St. Patrick's Primary School, we have a strong tradition of active travel. This has included our school ranking in the top five schools in Northern Ireland and the top ten schools in the whole of the UK during the Big Pedal.
Next week we will be encouraging all of our children to travel actively to school. This can involve walking, cycling or scooting to school.
Active travel is a great way for the children to stay active, increase fitness levels, improve wellbeing, socialise with their peers and reduce pollution.
So we look forward to seeing the children travelling actively to school next week and hopefully in the months ahead too!
Check out some of the photographs of active travel that has taken place in recent years. We are looking forward to making some new memories next week.
