Active Travel and Cycling Proficiency
The Primary 6 & 7 children delivered an assembly celebrating the whole school's active travel success this year.
Councillor Cara McShane came into school and presented the children with a certificate, recognising their commitment to and achievements in active travel this year.
The children have been invited to the council offices in Ballycastle to officially recognise their success over the past number of years, particularly in the Big Pedal.
The school has planned to work closely with the local council over the incoming months to consider ways to make our roads safer for our children to travel actively to school.
The Primary 7 children who had successfully completed the Cycling Proficiency Scheme also received their certificates.
Well done to everyone who has taken the time and made the effort to travel actively to school over the past year.
